Reflecting back on the AS Year

During the AS year, there were a number of technical skills that I took from the course.

Firstly i was introduced to a programme called Final Cut Pro where i did all the editing of the work we created; such as our thriller movies, our music video preliminarys etc.

I learn how to overlap footage, create effects and change the order of footage.

I also learnt the technical aspects of using a camera and tripod. This included how to film in focus, the different between auto and manual, as well as how to position the camera on the tripod and get a variety of shots.

I learnt how to use the Handbrake programme. I used this to convert my files to make them compatable to be seen on the blog.

I also used Live Type and Sound; which taught me about how to edit and create sound suitable for our thrillers, as well as how to create animated titles and import them onto our work.
