ANCILLARY PLANNING: Fonts

While designing my digipak and advertisement, I had to tough choice of which fonts I am going to use in my final product. This is because like all advertisements and designs, the font has to relate in some way to the genre of the music, the emotions or the conceptions the digipak portrays. The font has to have a relative and meaningful design which can relate one way or another to the finished design of my digipak and advertisement.

To look for various and unique font designs, I went on dafont.com to see if I can find a suitable font that I was looking for. What I was looking for was a font which didn't seem too bold and harsh to look at, but instead relatively soft, plain and easy on the eye. It had to imply a sense of innocence which is the theme I am aiming for in my final design. Here's what I found:

Although all are relatively similar in some way, I feel that they all relate to the innocent theme I'm looking for as well as suit the effects I'm going to apply to the font in both the digipak and advertisement.
