Rough Cut analysis

As we edge closer to the deadline, our excitement with the expectations of our music video reaching it as well as even- I dare say, exceed it!  So far, in the rough cut, We have not finished the entire edit, with neat cuts and perfect lip syncing. With a few clips to edit and the time is near for us to add effects to the over all clips to create the complete project.
POSITIVES:
The shots are really good and I cannot find a flaw in any of the shots that we have chosen.
I like the fact that we have many clips to choose from via Base tracks with an over all 23 base tracks to choose from throughout the music video.

NEGATIVES:
We have been warned that it is possible to "over edit" when we have so many clips and that we must keep a clear head and an eye out for the possibility of overwhelming the viewer with too much to watch. Leaving the viewer to not enjoy the music video.
And so, what we should keep an eye out is to be careful in the clips that we choose and just because we have many clips to choose from, doesn't mean that we should use ALL of them.
