Planning - Shortlist of Potential Songs

We have a number of potential songs for the music video we will be creating:

Florence and the Machine - Howl

We feel this would be ideal to edit to and could allow us to be really creative with it. The lyrics are quite graphic and evoke strong imagery, so we could let the video tell a deeper meaning to the song.

Adele - Cold Shoulder

Would be very good for editing too but might be a little bit too slow and could bore our audience.

Jessie J - Sexy Silk

A very exciting and quite upbeat song, but some notes and lyrics in the song would be hard to do in a video. We feel that we cannot connect to it as much.

Nero - Promises

Another really good song to use, although the actual video made us feel a little uneasy and like we had to create something similar. However, the meaning of the song is great and would let us be very creative with it, especially since the fast, upbeat instrumental would allow for sophisticated editing.
